This portrait is also a part of my "red-series". In this series, I try to eleminated the amount of noise, - mostly present in every situation - by using a "red-filter" and closing in the most important parts of the painting. The result gives a more precize focus on the essence of the picture.
This man is painted in the dark and is illuminated by normal light. The red glow around him intensives his appearance.
