WHY?
Why paint?
Because I like to express what fascinates and occupies me. People, situations, human behavior, bizarre situations, it's all possible.
What is important in my work is that I always try to emphasize what really interests me. The modest person, the person who is withdrawn, the person in an overwhelming situation or landscape.
Especially in those situations in which people are not fully aware of the presence of the viewer. There is always someone who is looking at us. It is when we are caught anyway..
In the work there is always a moment when I see the people shown looking back, noticing that I am there too. That is a respectful moment that I cherish.
That is what I do it for.
